Comicsnap.com consists of a desktop application for Mac OS X (running as a service as well) developed in Objective C or Realbasic and a web application developed in PHP or Ruby on Rails.
The desktop app captures audio/video, encodes the assets to a specific fixed video format and sends all information to the server. The web application presents this information in a fashionable way to end users.
Experience with Amazon AWS S3 and video handling is a plus.
If the project is executed, most likely there will be a need for extra features in the future.
