Developing a Website much alike http://cmypitch.com/ This would be quite a large website.
It should be scalable and the performance should not hamper when the number of users increases.It should be scalable for thousands of users.
Required:
1)Maintenance
2)Support
3)Search Engine Optimization
4)Easy Content Update by non-technical person.
5)Use of backend languages like JavaScript, ASP, PHP, CSS and Flash, if it enhances the website design look and feel, and does not slow down the speed of the website download is good.
No matter how your web design and development is structured, SRS would like to have the following aspects of the milestones covered.
1)Itemized cost breakdown for different employees and/or services
2) Estimated costs, and notification requirements for overruns
3) Deadlines for reviews and delivery of the software, along with the consequences of missing the deadlines.
4) Hosting details, if applicable: guaranteed site availability and response time
Maintenance agreements if applicable
5) Detailed milestones and R&R for design, content, development, testing and sign-off.
