This is a project that was originally posted last year. We had a good response and would like to thank any of you reading this, that have previously quoted. (would welcome new bids)
We have now re-structured finance and are seeking new quotes for the development of the site to the updated attached specification.
The website will be based on the business model and structure of www.threadless.com, the website is to be a t-shirt shop with a community aspect. Members will be able to submit designs to be rated by the community. The best designs will be printed and available to buy.
Please submit your best price for the design of the website as detailed on the attached website specification. It is very important that the specification is read fully and considered carefully before a bid is made.
We are looking for the best value quote and not necessarily the cheapest. It is very important that the final product is of exceptional quality.
As with any design process, communication is key and whilst location is not important English fluency is. We intend to be kept completely in the loop as to the development of all aspects of the site.
This project will be complicated and as such we believe that it will require the skill of more than one individual. We will consider bids from individuals but will expect you to detail your specific area expertise and the tasks that you carry out (E.g. Just graphic design or just website build?)

| I've been checking http://www.threadless.com, the overall impression is good, but the code is very bad. This is one thing you can do better than them. I've identified several improvements that could be made to that page. To be honest I like the design, it's clear and nice.
My passion is the web developing, My first steps were in the year 1998. Now I spend about 12 hours per day developing and sometimes even more. If I'm not developing I'm reading about web developing, that's the reason I have an excellent knowledge about the technologies and everything related to the web.
I work with Django, which in my opinion is the best framework available. I follow the timeline in real time and sometimes I have contributed with some patch. I have a long experience with Django, I know all the details of the framework, even the internals. I enjoy every day using it.
I take a great deal of care over my projects, specially with standards, accessibility and SEO. I always use XHTML 1.1 strict, CSS 2.1 and jQuery as Javascript framework. All my projects have the AAA accesibilidad level and get 9,8 points over 10 in examinador. When is possible I also insert some microformats into the code. I implement several SEO optimizations to the webs, I have a deep knowledge in the SEO techniques and usually the webs are indexed in a matter of hours and well positioned. The code generated has high semantic content and it doesn't have unnecessary elements or tags, getting an elegant and optimized code.
I'm used to work with big projects, including online payments and E-Commerce. At this time I'm finishing a social network and a complex web application.
