| Description: |
I am looking for a solution that will allow my 76 year old father easy use of the internet.
I am looking for either an Ubuntu or Fedora based ISO that I can install on a PC which when powered on will boot straight into a firefox browser.
There must be no login prompts.
It must support the ability to find new hardware and use DHCP on the local wireless NIC.
I would also be grateful if the screen would display a simple menu system in the even that the active browser window is closed. The options being:
+Reboot PC +Power Off PC +Relaunch browser window +Change screen resolution
The build must support all standards used on the internet such as Flash and also have freeware apps for reading PDF's etc.
At this point no mail client is needed although this may be considered int he future.
