Hello,
What I am looking for is simple. I run the website http://www.charter-flight.com which lets internet users search for airlines by entering the origin and destination of where they want to fly to in Europe.
Currently I enter all the flight details (origin & destination) manually, which takes up a lot of time. (This is the problem!)
I would like to know if anybody knows/offers any automated or semi-automated solutions (example: XML feed, excel file to be uploaded) which would update my website with the routes. Updates do not have to be daily, but can be less frequent.
IMPORTANT: I only need airlines flying within Europe. A somewhat complete list is here: en.airtraffic.eu/airlines
If you decide to PM me, please include relevant details. I don't need to see your design portfolio etc...just information relevant to my problem.

| Hello, you basically needs an ONLINE FETCHING SCRIPT. It is very simple to understand, People will come to your site and make queries their. In the background, your website server will contact host (airline) website (at the same instant when user query), transform user's query to host's query format, download results and display on your website (in the format you want or whatever). One great benifit you can enjoy is that, you will really not have to type a single data in your database! A virtual database would be populated (and will be 100% synchronized) on the very first minute when you launch website. Therefore, everything would be online, synchronized, fast and accurate. You will be able to display whatever data you want from the results of host websites. A backend admin control panel will also be provided. I have been making such systems for years. | The data can be uploaded using the excel file very easily. I have the script for this already. I can finish this work in less than 2 days and i have around 3 years of experience in php. |
