We are developing a Business/residential VoIP service.
We will be targeting business. Our phone plans will include various price plane which are yet to be determined with single line and multiple line services with multiple line/extensions and international and UK inbound numbers. We will also have other services like, IVR, Music on hold, Queuing, Hunt groups and more for our multi user customers who may have offices or friends and family . We want to give every customer, a reception desk interface for monitoring and transferring calls to internal extensions and external PSTN numbers to enable customers to have a completed hosted control over there services. We would need NAT traversal and SIP proxy all open source if possible ; you can use asterisk , SER , freeswitch or any other open source solution.
The setup that we are looking for should include the ability to configure new accounts from a web based interface both from a system setup point of view and a administration point of view for existing customers, and online signup and management system for customers where they can configure and setup there own system including IVR, Queue, Hunt group, extensions, and also can view invoices. With different accsess levels depending on there plans.
We would also require a comprehensive billing system integrated for different types of price plans and packages, and CDR management. We would like to be able to design and implement these packages and special offers like half price and free month packages on the web administration interface. Also the bills will be generated in PDF format and we will need the facility to change them on the fly which will reflect in the customer control panel this is useful if discounts are applied.
We would also appreciate some manuals and documentation and during a initial 6 month period the teething problems are addressed. Redundancy will need to be looked into once 1 system is fully operational.
This installation will be a pure IP based solution. We already have interconnects to various providers and all this is taken care of. We are not to concerned over which linux os will be used but the most secure is more beneficial.
We would also like the ability to have a video system to intergrate with the latest 3G , GPRS technology for delivery of saved video , live video , and intergration with the major IM technologies such as msn messenger , yahoo.
Calls will need to be recorded and encrypted and stored on a external server accsessable via a web based interface with management levels.
. Automatic provisioning of new phone accounts based on the product they purchased. If they only purchased online and activation of the account as soon as payment is made , for this system we will be using Linksys PAP2 so TFTP provisioning will need to be supported. And the ability to deactivate accounts and auto transfer to a agent to clear a payment before more calls can be made.
Web interface for users to view call data records and account information and any outstanding payments
Calling card application with web provisioning and online recharge. Calling card numbers delivered via email. A open source solution such as A2billing would be ideal for this.
Recording of voice greetings via a handset or the ability to upload and auto convert files in the customers interface panel on the web.
Retrieval of voice messages via handset, website and email both via the web , and from PSTN
